wow! what an extraordinary setting! what kind of extra light did you use - was it only one light, set on the ground behind the couple? or was there more?
It was definitely a cool setting. I used two point lighting for this photo. There was a 580ex ll flash in the back and one a couple pillars in front of them as a spot light.
thanks for the answer - i'd love to get into wedding photography. i checked out your site - you do such fresh and fun work! i was a little confused about whether you're the only person on the site or not, though. do you do all the photography, and, are you the person offering the textures there too? because i'd noticed none of your photos seem to use textures, which made me wonder if textures are sooooo last decade and clients just want the clean, fresh style you are showing in your blog?
I am more than happy to answer all your questions! Wedding photography is a fun way to capture the essence of happiness and emotions...and you can eat a slice of their wedding cake! I am the main photographer in my company, but I have other shooters under me. I always work in a three-man team in order to set the lights and shoot as efficiently as possible, since the wedding day has a strict itinerary. I have done some textures on my photos in the past, but it was not really my style. I would prefer that my clients enjoy the photos how it is shot than super-imposed. Most of my work have only slight editing, but mostly everything is calibrated by my camera.
